December 31 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
The event single is what we can an individual event on the calendar. “Single” may be a bit of a funny word, but it’s what WordPress calls posts, so we’re following suit.
Creating an event in The Events Calendar is exactly like creating a new post in WordPress. Once you navigate to Events → Add New, you’ll be taken to the editor, which looks almost identical to the WordPress post editor. The only difference is that the plugin adds event-specific fields and options that are tailored for publishing events, like the start and end time of the event.
You’re looking at an event right now. Events can be one day or span multiple. Events can happen once or, with Events Calendar Pro installed, can be set to recur daily, weekly, monthly, annually, or a custom pattern. And, like other WordPress posts, you’re able to make an event public, private or password protect it. There are also options to categorize and tag posts, as well as hide events from the calendar and feature them so they stand out with a special visual style.
